Hamburg, 01.03.2021: As a specialist and market leader in the areas of air conditioning / ventilation, CBRN protection, piping systems as well as refrigeration and fire extinguishing technology, each individually tailored to the respective customer and his needs, we operate very successfully internationally. A comprehensive global round-the-clock service is of course part of our offer. Innovative solutions for marine and special ships, offshore platforms and passenger ships from Hamburg have been developed for over 140 years and in demand worldwide.

In August 2016, Noske-Kaeser GmbH, now renamed ENGIE Axima Germany GmbH, signed a contract with thyssenkrupp Marine Systems GmbH (tkMS) for the design, delivery and construction of the refrigeration / HVAC system for 4 corvettes for the Israeli Navy.

We were responsible for the design, delivery and construction of the ventilation and piping system, the provision cooling system and the chillers for the four structurally identical corvettes of the SA-AR-6 class. After the design, we were able to start building the air conditioning and cooling systems in Kiel in July 2018.

We were able to use the third quarter of 2020 to train the crew on operation and many technical details. After more than 4 years, all the systems commissioned on the first ship were handed over to the customer by ENGIE Axima Germany. Corona-related on a small scale, the new corvette "INS Magen" was finally handed over to the client and end customer on November 11, 2020 in a ceremony.

The first of the four naval ships was launched on November 17th. escorted by the police through the Kiel Canal. On December 3rd The “INS Magen” arrived in Haifa after a good two and a half weeks of voyage - naturally with smoothly functioning air conditioning and cooling systems.

The remaining three corvettes are expected to be completed this year.
