The customized designed ventilation modules of AXIMA & Noske-Kaeser enable the construction and the installation of many system and plant components such as CBRN protection unit, high-pressure ventilator, air conditioning and sanitary device in a compact container
measuring 12 m3.
Air conditioning units
AXIMA & Noske-Kaeser has developed an innovative product line complying with the highest international standards, such as for example VDI 6022, STD as well as BV. Thanks to their special design, our air conditioning systems are very compact and reduced in weight.
Machinery ventilation
Safe operation of systems within the engine rooms is essential for the proper manoeuvrability of the vessel. To ensure this central function, the systems of AXIMA & Noske-Kaeser air-condition engine rooms depending on the requirement via seawater or ventilate them with atmospheric and filtered outside air. Via CFD analyses heat pockets can be localized and with it, high surface temperatures can be prevented.
Fan coil units
AXIMA & Noske-Kaeser has developed compact fan coil units specially for the use in technical rooms, displaying a high performance at low airborne and structure-borne sound levels. With it, in rooms such as the CIC, high thermal loads can be absorbed efficiently and at minimal space requirements.
Axial, radial, high-pressure fans
Ventilators are used for the ventilation of engine rooms, control centers, sanitary rooms, ammunition storage and many other rooms. To this extent, AXIMA & Noske-Kaeser produces high-strength, shock-resistant and vibration-proof axial, radial and high-pressure fans made of extremely lightweight aluminium. Our highly efficient fans are also suitable for use in explosion-proof rooms.
CBRNflex3600
The latest development of AXIMA & Noske-Kaeser in the area of CBRN combines the advantages of proven predecessors SLG and SLM and goes even further: The new CBRNflex3600 integrates all components of a full CBRN system in a compact station and allows filtering of up to 3,600 m3/h fresh air. The system provides high connectivity to the existing ship systems, improves the flexibility, saves space, is low maintenance, cost-effective and requires less installation time on board.
CBRN protection unit, door station
Our CBRN protection units reliably ensure the safety of your ship’s crew in case of chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear warfare agent use. With compact door stations of type SLG TpN, AXIMA & Noske-Kaeser has developed a CBRN protection unit that has been in use successfully for decades on surface vessels of various naval forces. With an air volume of 300 to 900 m3/h, our stations may be combined in any order and according to your requirements on board.
CBRN protection unit, modular system
Especially for smaller vessels (< 90 m) such as corvettes, space-saving CBRN protection units are essential. Despite its compact form, the modular SLM system by AXIMA & Noske-Kaeser clears air volumes between 300 and 3,600 m3h of CBRN warfare agents quickly and efficiently.
Pressure wave protection
Pressure blows caused by detonations at sea may have massive impacts on the vessel during naval missions. Not least, this also affects the equipment and systems on board. With a specially developed pressure wave protection system, AXIMA & Noske-Kaeser protects the CBRN protection unit directly after the sand filter and the water trap against damage and thus ensures a long service life.
Sand filters
For operation close to desert regions, protection against sand and dust is essential. AXIMA & Noske-Kaeser offers a sand and/or sand water separator combination depending on the type of application in order to protect the CBRN protection unit as well as the subsequent ventilation systems. The filters are primarily made from coated aluminium, and may also be protected against infrared rays by being camouflaged.
CBRN prewetting systems
The CBRN prewetting system is used to wet all outside surfaces of the vessel with seawater. This prevents warfare agents from depositing on the upper deck. In this case, the system is fed by the central fire-extinguishing system. AXIMA & Noske-Kaeser offers a multitude of nozzle types for all deck surfaces, walls and equipment.
Provision cooling systems
Whether for small units with two rooms or for ten or more refrigeration rooms, AXIMA & Noske-Kaeser offers individual provision cooling systems for your special type of application - also in a shock-resistant and vibration-proof design.
Waste cooling systems
AXIMA & Noske-Kaeser offers individual systems, also in a redundant design, to separately equip waste cooling rooms
Chilled water units
Chilled water units on board of naval vessels are not only relevant for the operational capability of air conditioning and ventilation systems but are also crucial for the cooling of electronics and weapons systems. AXIMA & Noske-Kaeser offers individually designed water chillers with piston or screw compressors in a shock-resistant and vibration-proof design. Also special versions such as compact low-magnetic water chillers are part of our comprehensive portfolio.”
Water-based systems
AXIMA & Noske-Kaeser offers a diverse range of fire-extinguishing systems using water as an extinguishing agent. Be it hydrant, sprinkler, low-pressure or high-pressure water mist systems, AXIMA & Noske-Kaeser designs, manufactures and installs individually designed fire-extinguishing systems for the main fire-extinguishing system as well as for enclosures of engines and energy generators.
Gas systems
AXIMA & Noske-Kaeser offers the complete range of CO2 fire-extinguishing systems for the use on naval vessels. In unmanned rooms and enclosures of engines and energy generators CO2-based automated fire-extinguishing systems are used. Antimagnetic versions are also available for special requirements.
Foam systems
Foam systems use seawater and synthetic foaming agents and are primarily used to extinguish liquid fires. The space-saving foam systems by AXIMA & Noske-Kaeser are fed by a compact pump unit, comprising one or two foaming agent pumps, a foaming agent container, a pump control cabinet as well as all required valves.
HyFEx®
With the development of the worldwide unique HyFEx® system, AXIMA & Noske-Kaeser has set a new standard for firefighting in naval shipbuilding. The high cooling effect and the capability to completely extinguish fire also in damaged structures make the HyFEx® system an ideal solution. The German Navy also trusts in our innovative technology. AXIMA & Noske-Kaeser HyFEx® systems have a GL type approval and are shock and vibration tested according to BV 0430.
KiFEx®
The AXIMA & Noske-Kaeser KiFEx® system is a combination of firefighting and fire alarm system in the galley area, specially designed for the use on naval vessels. Integrated flame detectors provide a pre-alarm, and the KiFEx® system is activated by ways of a pneumatic trigger system. By means of the pneumatic system, the resistance of the system is increased and maintenance efforts are reduced.
