Hamburg, 06.05.2021: What would our beautiful city, our gateway to the world be without ships, the flair of the Elbe and of course the largest harbor festival in the world ...?
For the first and hopefully last time, the 832nd Hamburg port birthday will take place digitally due to the Corona crisis. A colorful program is offered to visitors under Hafengeburtstag @ Home; A lot of information about our port, but also the traditional opening service, digital band contests and the most important things at the port - ships - should help to satisfy the maritime longing.
At ENGIE Axima Germany, of course, we have a very special relationship with it. In addition to the partly folk festival-like character of this colorful harbor festival, ships are always an integral part and hub of interest. In addition to the famous tug ballet, marine and cruise ships and passenger ships as well as tall ships from all over the world are among the attractions on the water and can usually even be viewed on board. Some of them have been able to rely on technology from our Hamburg quality forge for decades. Air conditioning, ventilation and refrigeration technology, fire extinguishing systems, CBRN protection and are just as much a part of it as piping and electrical engineering.
From May 7th to 9th, let's look forward to pictures of the Port of Hamburg, live concerts straight into the living room, painting competitions for children and, above all, to the prospect for next year, which means: We will celebrate our port from May 6th to 9th. Until May 8, 2022 on the occasion of the 833th port birthday, definitely with an audience again.
