Work will involve the refurbishment, renewal and upgrade of all HVAC, Refrigeration, CBRN Protection and Fixed Fire Fighting systems on the ship. The regeneration and renewal of the systems will be performed by a joint team, consisting of both Axima Marine UK and Noske-Kaeser, including Noske-Kaeser’s Component Workshop.
Juergen Schmidt, Managing Director of Noske-Kaeser, said “In late 2020 we decided to develop the UK Marine Market - now we are very proud to have been selected by Harland & Wolff. This is the first of many projects, we will be delivering in the UK. The HMS Quorn regeneration will benefit from Noske-Kaeser’s extensive experience in Minehunters. As partner to Harland & Wolff, we are proud to contribute to bringing HMS Quorn back into a condition, so the Lithuanian Navy can successfully complete their important missions.”
