WELCOME, new colleagues!

Hamburg, 10.06.2021: ENGIE Axima Germany is breaking new ground - namely, moving ahead.

For reasons of cost and flexibility, it is common in many industries to "outsource" certain services in the form of contracts for work and services.

This is no different in shipbuilding.

ENGIE Axima Germany has now initiated the turnaround for itself. In the spring of 2021, we took the opportunity and hired 55 Lithuanian assembly employees who used to work for ENGIE Axima Germany and other companies via work contracts. Welcome new colleagues!

For us, the quality component is very much in the foreground. The aim is to build up a team of in-house assembly workers who are reliable in terms of both qualifications and availability. To this end, we train our new employees, who are employed, for example, as welders, pipe fitters or fitters, in a targeted manner, both in their respective specialist area and linguistically, and are convinced that we lay the foundation for successful cooperation with long-term employment contracts and fair conditions . No disruptive changes in assembly workers in the current project, no constant new training, instead reliability, targeted training and satisfied employees - we are optimistic that with this step we have done the right thing and set a future-oriented course. Last but not least: As a company as a whole, we want to use this route to become even more reliable for our customers, especially in the sensitive and time-critical area of assembly.

In the long term, we are planning to increase the number of our own assembly staff to 100 in order to meet our requirements on all projects. We can insure our shipyard customers as well as end customers in the various marines:We.assemble.Quality.
