Hamburg, 06.01.2021: Despite Covid-19, environmental issues are more topical than ever. Even during the pandemic, which is unfortunately still ongoing, everyone can do something for sustainability and be aware of nature and the environment.
Don't talk, do! We like to take this motto to heart. In addition to some other projects, which we will also report on below, we initially thought about e-mobility. And what use are great vehicles if the right conditions are not created? So the idea of building the corresponding charging stations on site on our company premises in Hamburg in Ruwoldtweg, in addition to the e-company cars to be purchased, matured. Our own large parking lot offered enough space for our ambitious project.
Adapted to the number of future ENGIE e-automobiles, 5 charging stations with 2 charging points each were to be created. The earth and paving work began in September; Power lines had to be laid. But work was also necessary in the production hall in order to be able to make the connections.
Despite the corona lockdown, we were able to put our long-awaited charging stations into operation in December after the necessary foundation work and erection - of course with the ENGIE Axima logo and our very own motto created by the company management printed: "Energy is our future - save it “In this sense: To be continued….
