The Cyber Essentials scheme, underwritten by the UK Government National Cyber Security Centre, is part of the Government’s National Cyber Security Strategy.
The scheme involves an independent assessment of security controls that businesses need to have in place to mitigate risks from common cyber threats. By taking part in this Cyber Essential assessment, organisations can demonstrate to customers and partners that they have taken vital precautions to combat today’s internet-borne threats. Russ Tidbury, Senior Commercial Director ENGIE Axima Marine (UK), said: “This Government endorsed standard highlights our cyber resilience and we are pleased to support it and to have achieved the Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus certification. ENGIE Axima are focused on protecting its customers from today’s cyber threats and we are committed to working with the UK Government, Industry and Academia to ensure we all play our part in improving the UK cyber protection.”
